Closer is our annual four-night gathering where we draw close to God and pursue revival, individually and as a church. Thursday through Saturday we gather together at LakePoint in Cartersville. On Sunday we gather at every Crosspoint City location, just like always. Make room in your week. RSVP now for the nights you plan to attend.

He is the founding pastor of Hope Church Las Vegas and former President of Send Network, the largest church-planting organization in North America. Vance now leads a preaching, coaching, and consulting ministry called Kingdom Catalyst, and is the author of UNBURDENED and The Stressless Life.

Phil Hopper

Lead Pastor, Abundant Life Church

Phil Hopper is the lead pastor of Abundant Life Church in Lee's Summit, Missouri, a position he has held since 2000. Before answering his calling to ministry, Hopper served as a police officer and sergeant with the Kansas City Police Department, where he was a member of the SWAT team. This unique background in law enforcement provided him with valuable experiences that God used to prepare him for his future role in ministry.

Matt Chewning

Matt Chewning is a husband, father, pastor, community leader and semi-retired hooper. After graduating college in 2011, Matt entered Corporate America and pursued a sales career in Corporate Design for six years. Gifted with the ability to genuinely connect with people, Matt left the success of his job to redirect his gifts and started Netcast Church in 2011 with his wife, Beth, and their four children.

James Griffin

Lead Pastor, Crosspoint City Church

James Griffin is the Lead Pastor of Crosspoint City Church. He holds a master's degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and his greatest passion is seeing the Great Commission fulfilled. James serves as a church planting network leader in Metro Atlanta with NewThing and Engage Churches. He also serves as the President of Engage West Africa, a non-profit committed to getting the gospel to unreached people groups in Burkina Faso and Guinea.

Yes. Every gathering, every night, is free for everyone.

Do I need to RSVP for every night?

Yes. RSVP your whole family for every night you plan to attend, so we can plan well and have enough space, food, and childcare ready.

Can I come to just one night?

Yes. Come to one night or every night, just RSVP for the nights you're attending.

Is childcare provided?

Yes. Childcare is provided every night, but RSVP for your kids separately so we can prepare for them.

What ages are welcome in kids programming?

Kids programming is available every night for ages 12 weeks through 5th grade.

Will there be food?

Yes. Food vendors will be on site every night with a few dinner options available for purchase.

Where do I park at LakePoint?

Parking is ample, but come early. Give yourself extra time to park and get settled before we start.

Can I bring a Guest?

Yes. Closer is for everyone. Bring a Guest and RSVP for them too.

What happens on Sunday?

Join us at any Crosspoint City location for our regular Weekend Gathering as we close out Closer together.
